On Rink 1 Courthaulds started very strongly winning all but 1 of the first 9 ends, to be 9 -1 up at the halfway point, But Woods dominated the second half coming out winners by 20-11.

Rink 2 was the reverse with Woods starting strongly 11- 6 up at the halfway point, but ended up losing 13 - 18.

On Rink 3 Woods found themselves up against a strong team and battled hard but in the end lost 7 - 21

So Woods lost 40 - 50 overall with a score of 2 - 6.

The after match refreshments are well worth a mention with a lovely spread of sandwiches and cakes, which were most appreciated.
